My name is Raquel Meraki and I'm a young woman who is on the journey of self discovery and independence. I stepped into leadership at young age and that shaped me into the woman I am today. However, once I learned to not let the voices of people around me have a strong influence in my life and I started to draw closer to Christ, the calling on my life became more evident. I am a choreographer, teacher, blogger, writer, designer and simply a person who loves to encourage others . I can say this with confidence for I have been learning to find who I truly am outside of my gifts & talents. This blog is to help encourage and inspire young adults through the arts, and devotionals while embracing the Meraki lifestyle. Meraki means to do something with soul, creativity or love; to put something of yourself into your work. Love.Serve.Passion. Meraki is a way of daily living. To Love is an unconditional act and has no measure (John 15:9-13). To Serve someone on any scale and putting them before our selves is what the gospel requires of us (Galatians 5:13, 1 Peter 4:10). To have Passion is the compelling motivator behind whatever it is you do that's pleasing to Christ (Colossians 3:23). Lastly, Meraki seals it altogether to remind you that when you love, serve, and have passion, do it with soul, creativity and give your very best while doing so. If you're on a journey of self discovery like me and want to be a better version of your self each day, this blog is for you. Be blessed.
