Good morning young women! Question of the day!
What season are you in?
Time to dig deep and peel some layers!
As I am adulting and transitioning into womanhood or in others words becoming a wife soon, I had to transition into my new season. When I got engaged it was beautiful and I was so excited. Then, reality hit me like crazy when I thought that all my dreams will not happen if I do get married and God will not use me the same way if I'm not single. In the words of Maury. "That was lie". I had to realize that I was transitioning into a new season and there's blessings in every season despite what you may have to go through to receive them. It's paramount to know what season you are in so you are confident in where you are throughout your life. You can't look at someone else and become vex because they have something that you desire or they're doing something that you've always wanted to do, but have you thought about the season they're in? It's not the same as yours. I can't be mad if my single friend has her own apartment and I'm engaged living with my mom. 2 different seasons, 2 different lives, 2 different circumstances. If it's summer, but you're still wearing your winter gear, you haven't accepted your season yet. Transition needs to happen. Young women, it's time to seek God, reflect, accept our season and ask God the father how He wants to use you in this season. Love you and God Bless💕

Happy Friday young women! Let God become greater in every aspect of your life. The good, the bad and the ugly parts. He's deserving of the Glory since this life we live not our own. We are just vessels fill up and ready to pour out what he's placed in each of us. We must become less. In all that we do today, let's honor God our father! God bless.
Morning young women!
I just want to share with you this quote that rocked me some months ago that I heard from T.D. Jakes. The battle that we find ourselves fighting the most is the battle in our minds. Our way of thinking can either hinder what God wants to do in us or open us up to the possibilities of what we can do with God on our side. We have to change the way we think about everything because it encompasses not only our freedom but ideas, creativity, skills, and goals that we long to accomplish. How do we change our way of thinking? By renewing our minds. Keyword here is renew, meaning Jesus has already done a new thing within us, including our mindset when He died on the cross. Because we are imperfect but still loved, we have the opportunity to REnew our minds. Take advantage of this grace and let's fix our focus on the things that give God glory. Let us not change our way thinking for our own benefit but to honor God with our minds. Young women, it's all a journey and process to feel whole and be complete. Keep peeling layers and discovering who you are in Christ. 💕
Read these scriptures: Romans 12:2, Philippians 4:8, Colossians 3:2
This morning I was talking to my fiancé about my passion for ministry and I was venting what I love, what I hope could change, how I want to help etc. In the midst of my venting, the Lord reminded how passionate I am about it and that it's part of my purpose. I'm not sure how God will use me in ministry (again) yet but I was able to pay attention to the "why" in my frustrations. I challenge you to peel a layer today and pay attention to why you are frustrated and find the root of your frustration. It just may lead you to something bigger than your self. It may lead you to starting your own business, YouTube channel, non-profit etc. When you vent focus on what's coming out of your mouth and why, don't miss it by attach your frustrations to anger. Shift your mindset today.
Question of the day: what are you afraid of?
Many of you are beginning new chapters in your life and it maybe be driving you crazy. Yes, it will drive you crazy but the key is to not let it DRIVE you. Stand firm in the Lord and know He has your back. Don't give the devil any room to do what he pleases in your life. Fear is not a spirit given to us by God whatsoever but He has given us power, love and self discipline. Use what God has instilled in you and let your fears FEAR you because of the mighty God you serve. Discover what your fears are, acknowledge it, and ask God to help you push past them. Be confident in the Lord, He loves you so much!
It was pouring rain this morning as I was driving to work. It was cold with some hard wind blowing as well. I began to have a praise break in my car. Why? Because the car that I was driving for about a year or two was not great at all during weather conditions. When it rained, it was really hard to see and the wipers were not too great, when the wind blew, it also pushed my car to the side...crazy right. And I could literally hear EVERYTHING happening outside of my car such as the wind whistling through. But now, I parked my car and I was able to sit and watch, in silence, in my new warm and cozy car, through my super clean windshields the crazy wind blowing and the trees rocking back and forth shaking off the half bloomed flowers, pushing the rain left to right....in that moment I was so grateful and appreciative as to how God made a way for me to get a new car...also in that moment I was reminded of how much we need to continue to be responsible for our own spirit and be aware of what we are allowing to enter in and/ or surround us. It's our spirit and it's our responsibility to maintain it and keep it holy. It's not an easy thing to do. It's easy to be tempted and find your self in a whirlwind kind of like the weather condition I was watching in my car. But keep your spirit safe, warm, and firm in the Lord

Peeling Sunday! Time to shed some layers and get deep! Question of the day:
Who are you measuring yourself with?
To measure ourselves with someone else hinders us from figuring out who are and accepting it. Measuring our selves with someone else can cause you to change motives and direction in your life that will lead you on a different path that you shouldn't be on. Let's be inspired by each other and not compare or measure our life styles with one another. Find out who you measure or compare yourself to, find out why and let it go. God has set the ultimate standard for our lives and Jesus is the one we should be measuring ourselves with. He has set the standard and let's measure up to that standard. God bless and stay encouraged young women!
When you're on a journey you may get stuck sometimes but should you stay there?
Should you stay and ponder on the past or on the "would've " "should've" and "could've"
You're probably right in the middle. You're probably wondering if it's even worth moving forward because where you are right now is comfortable or manageable. Listen, there's so much more in front of you than behind. Keep going and don't stop. You're right in the middle and we are actually right in the middle of the year! So close to finishing up that short or long term goal. Keep going young woman, this journey is just getting stared!
My name is Raquel Meraki and I'm a young woman who is on the journey of self discovery and independence.
