My Young Woman Journey
After finally accepting my calling and gift, I was ready to utilize it and build on it. My goal was to make the best out of what I've been called to do and make my Heavenly Father proud. I came across a sermon on YouTube called “You are not your gift” by Ebenezer Quaye at One Church LA. After watching the sermon, this one same statement kept ringing in my head: “find out who you are outside of your gift.” That’s when I decided to write down the inner parts of who I am, who I am trying to be, who I am not, who I want to be, etc. As I went through about 5 pages’ front and back, I began to feel a new level of confidence settle in my soul. As I continued to pull out these inner parts of me and put it on paper, it began to give me an extra boost in my faith that I will truly succeed in my gift. Reading what I wrote so far helped me to feel at peace and happy with who I am. With that, whatever I do that’s pleasing to God should not identify me. What I do, what you do, what we do goes right back to our heavenly Father, not ourselves. Having this perspective can help with your growth as an individual and in your gift. Starting with myself, I am on this young woman journey as I continue to yank out the inner parts of who I am and put it in writing; embracing who Tiffany truly is and being happy with that. I know that there are many Young Women out there who have struggled accepting who they truly are or have never listed everything that they are to fully accept it. I believe that once you know and accept it, you will not have to identify yourself with your gift. Your gift can now be used to change the lives of people everywhere you go. If you’re a Young Woman like me that wants to excel in her gifts, talents, calling and more, join the #youngwomanjourney movement and explore the inner you.
